what
WE are doing?
Registered non-profit in Uganda in 2005, ACEM is committed to providing medical care, clean water and funding the needs of orphaned school children so that they find their place in this country and in the world as well as compliment the development of leadership and organizational abilities of the church.
Education
The ministry is implementing a student scholarship program that is assisting needy and disadvantaged children to access education beyond elementary school. The focus is secondary school and vocational education and exceptional cases for University education.
Water
The ministry endeavors to support rural communities and institutions to access safe drinking water to eliminate water borne diseases.
Health
The ministry has been organizing medical camps each year checking and treating over 700 children and 200 adults. 85% of those checked are found with malaria and thus showing us that the need for medical attention if the rural areas is much needed.
Food Aid
Food aid is a crucial part of helping tackle world hunger. Many households in Uganda currently survive on 1 meal a day. Our aim is to provide rations of beans and posho to the elderly who are not able to work their fields.
